The sponsors have the mission of providing sufficient human, technical and financial resources for the proper development of the Program and its activities. They provide a legal framework and, through their statutes, a logical framework for the development of programmes and projects.

They may represent institutionally, together or separately, the Awaq Program; and they are authorized, in solidarity, to sign agreements and alliances.

The local partners provide the human and technical resources in the places where the Stations are located, facilitating the dialogue and the adhesion of the community to the Stations in their territory.

Municipality of Aguadas

Aguadas, Caldas, is a municipality located in the extreme North of the department of Caldas. This municipality makes part of the Coffee Cultural Landscape declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011.

For the Municipal Administration, headed by Mayor Diego Fernando González Marín, promoting the care and conservation of the environment is a priority. Therefore, through the ESBR-Aguadas Program, Agreement signed with Hoteles Solidarios Association, we seek the environmental, economic, and social development of the municipality through the implementation of a Bird Sanctuary and an Experimental Station for Biodiversity Research-ESBR.

JULIÁN GUTIÉRREZ ARQUITECTURA

Julián Gutiérrez Arquitectura SAS BIC is a company with purpose, specialist in design and sustainable construction. It was founded by the architect Julian Gutierrez Chacon, a professional with more than 20 years of experience in development of architectural, urban and landscape projects.

The company proposes an environmentally and socially conscious architecture to contribute to the sustainable development that humanity requires today. SENA

SENA The National Learning Service (SENA) offers free training to millions of Colombians through technical, technological and complementary programs focused on the economic, scientific and social development of the country.

From the CENTER FOR COFFEE TRAINING OF THE NATIONAL TRAINING SERVICE – (SENA) CALDAS HEADQUARTERS (in Spanish CENTRO PARA LA FORMACIÓN CAFETERA DEL SERVICIO NACIONAL DE APRENDIZAJE – (SENA) REGIONAL CALDAS), an Organization characterized by its role in the creation and transmission of knowledge through teaching, research, innovation, transfer of knowledge and technology, it is assumed within the framework of the signed agreement with Hoteles Solidarios – Awaq Program a key role in the development of transversal competences in the students. This to promote their comprehensive development and contribute to their training as active and socially committed citizens, key to achieving the objectives agreed with the signing of this agreement.

EAN UNIVERSITY

The EAN UNIVERSITY counts with 52 years of institutional path, in which it has trained more than 40.000 graduates from different disciplines and education levels.

The Professional Practice is considered as a compulsory study unit (subject) within the syllabus of the undergraduate degree programs, because during its development the students strengthen their professional training through the application of the acquired knowledge during the academic process.

CALDAS HYDROELECTRIC

The Caldas Hydroelectric Power Plant – CHEC, is a company that seeks to generate development in the territory through strategic alliances with organizations such as Awaq Biological Stations, which is why CHEC finds in the SANTA-CAV Aguadas Project an opportunity to generate capacities in the community so that they are in charge of managing and conserving the natural resources of the region and also co-create some projects of national and international scope to contribute to the harmony of life for a better world.
